Tysons Love and Hope on Wheels was founded by Denise Stewart. It’s a mouthful for a program that has put over two thousand pets into wheelchairs.  Tysons was started when Denise’s Boxer dog, Tyson, began showing signs of Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). Once she saw how much a wheelchair would cost and how many people cannot afford to purchase one,  the non-profit began its early development.   The Tyson program is a 501c(3) nonprofit that is dedicated to providing loaner wheelchairs to pets in need. And it’s not just pets with DM, nor is it exclusively for dogs. We have pets with many other health issues that prevent them from having full mobility such as DM, hip dysplasia, paralysis, amputees, etc.  We have shipped wheelchairs within the US (including Hawaii), Canada, UK, Scotland, Australia, Puerto Rico, and South Africa. We're committed to being your partner in providing the best possible care for your pet. Once your wheelchair arrives, our support begins. You'll receive helpful videos and information to guide you through setup, adjustments, and everyday use. Our team is always ready to assist with any questions or concerns, and we'll work closely with you to ensure your pet is comfortable and properly fitted. We're here for you and your pet, every step of the way. All members will always be a part of Tysons family.
