Facebook Support Groups
Below are some Facebook groups that you might find supportive as you navigate your journey with your pup. Click on image or title of the group.
IVDD Support Group is a group of ordinary people and their extraordinary dogs from all walks of life that come together to offer advice, share stories, and most importantly, to help one another when their dog's, and they themselves, need it the most.
This is a group for anyone who has a "tripawd" dog, or ever fell in love with one. Share interests, stories, and of course helpful info for caring for these wonderful canines!
Taking care of a beloved animal with this injury is heartbreaking and exhausting. This is a support group where everyone can post pictures, videos, share their stories and help one another with advice and tips for their animal.
DM disease (Degenerative Myelopathy) has been seen in different breeds. Boxers, German Shepherds & Corgis. As far as terriers: Airedale Terrier, Wire fox , Kerry Blue and Wheatons
Opened this group to help DM boxer owners. SO many of the other groups are focused on Shepards, tons of memorials and are really sad to be a part of. I hope this group can be about sharing ideas that help our DM dogs be as comfortable as possible. We will share ideas and info on treatments and research
DM aka Degenerative Myelopathy (similar to ALS in people) is rampant in many dog breeds but it CAN be Prevented if we spread the word! This page is for anyone that has heard of DM & wants to help us Raise Awareness in honor of our KC the Corgi & alllll of our DM friends also forced to take this journey!
